Roberto Paruzzo - piano, Alberto Martini - violin, Marco Perini - cello

ROBERTO PARUZZO. He graduated with honors and magna cum laude at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" in Milan; he studied with Franco Gei, heir to the piano school of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Winner of numerous awards in national and international competitions (Mantua, Albenga, Osimo, Stresa, Monza, Venice, etc.), he started early his performances as soloist, appearing in the main Italian and foreign theaters: Goldoni and La Fenice Theatre in Venice, Mantua Bibiena, Ponchielli in Cremona, Donizetti of Bergamo, Goldoni in Florence, Capital Theater of Trento, New Theatre of Udine, Eden Treviso, Toniolo in Mestre, Auditorium Haydn of Bolzano, Zurich Theater Volkhaus, National Bern, Montforthaus of Feldkirch, Theater Basel, Theater of Locarno, Stadtstheater of Schaffhausen, Stadtshalle Balingen, Hebbel-Theater in Berlin, Istanbul Theatre, Hong Kong etc. Since 1995, he is regularly invited by the most prestigious concert venues such as The Italian Society of Concerts and Musical Evenings in Milan, Concert Society of Cremona, The Philharmonic Academy of Verona, Theatres SpA of Treviso, Friends of Music in Mestre, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Academy Filarmonica Romana, Association "A.Scarlatti" Naples International Festival of Nations in Città di Castello, etc. In 2001 he toured with the "Haydn" Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, performing the Beethoven Third Concerto under the direction of Maestro Johannes Wildner. The main Italian newspapers (Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, etc.) dedicated him open spaces announcing Mr. Paruzzo as a new rising star. In 2002, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders conducted by Maestro David Angus, he performed the Concerto KV 467 by Mozart at the Concertgebouw Brugge, Antwerp deSingel Theatre, Theatre Royal Brussels etc, ending the tour at Sala Verdi in Milan. Among its recent commitments outstanding concerts at the Opera de Nice (Third Concerto Beethoven conducted by Yuri Simonov), a tour with the Chamber Orchestra of Padua and Veneto with the Liszt First Concerto, conducted by Maestro Zsolt Hamar (Auditorium "C. Pollini" of Padua, Theatre "Da Ponte" in Vittorio Veneto, etc.), the performances of Rhapsody in Blue with the Symphony Orchestra of the Teatro Donizetti Bergamo, conducted by Maestro Fabrizio Maria Carminati, concerts with the Orchestra Sinfonica of Udine conducted by Maestro Tiziano Severini and The Italian Virtuosi directed by Maestro Corrado Rovaris. He has recorded for RAI (Italian National Radio Television), RTSI and Sky Classic and also for the labels Concert and AVS. Recent publications include two CDs for the music magazine Amadeus with the "Instrumentalist of the Teatro alla Scala".

 

ALBERTO MARTINI. Born in Verona, he graduated in violin with maximum grade at the Conservatory of his town and then he improved himself with the Maestro C. Romano at the Geneva Conservatory. During his career, he performed with many orchestras in Italy and abroad  and in the most prestigious festivals acting as concertmaster and conductor as well as soloist. He has steadily collaborated as leader with various and important orchestras and with the most famous conductors as R. Muti, R. Chailly, V. Gergiev, D. Yurovsky, M. W. Chung, G. Sinopoli, Y. Temirkanov etc. In June 2009 he made his debut as soloist in the legendary Carnagie Hall (Pereleman Stage, Issac Stern Hall) in New York. As conductor and concertmaster, he has a rich recording activity, with more than 50 CDs recorded for the most important record companies of the market and more than 400 thousand CDs sold all over the world. For the recording of the complete work of F.A. Bonporti (in world premiere), he won several record awards, among which: "Cinque Stelle" Goldberg award, the "Diapason d’Oro", the "Choc de la Musique" as well as various 5 stars of Italian magazine MUSICA. In these last years he has assiduously dedicated himself to the development of the activity of Conductor and Artistic Director, by collaborating and establishing an intense relationship of reciprocal respect with international renowned soloists. From 1999 to 2006 he was Artistic Director of the Accademia I Filarmonici of Verona and from 2006 he is Artistic Director of I Virtuosi Italiani and of the two concert seasons performed in Verona. He collaborated as artistic manager of the orchestra of Teatro Comunale in Treviso and he is still external consultant of the Festival “I Suoni delle Dolomiti”, organized by Trentino S.p.A. From 2007 to 2010 he was Artistic Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is also significant his constant interest for the contemporary genre, which allowed him to realize important projects with artists of the caliber of C. Corea, M. Nyman, F. Battiato, L. Einaudi, P. Glass, U. Caine, P. Fresu and many others.
Now he is Professor of Violin at the Conservatory “E.F. Dall’Abaco” in Verona, but he is regularly invited to hold masterclass in different Italian and foreign Institutions and in the committees of the most important International Contests of Violin and Chamber Music. He plays a precious violin C. F. Landolfi of 1751 kindly granted by Fondazione Pro Canale in Milan.

 

MARCO PERINI. He is an exceptional musician. He began to study cello at the age of seven, and immediately revealed a sensitivity and a versatility out of the ordinary. His particular talent brought him to distinguish himself in the Italian musical scene. After graduating in Brescia and studying at the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with M°Giuseppe Selmi, he has been one of the founders of Orchestra “Arturo Toscanini” in Parma, where he was the first cello player. He performed the same role in many others ensembles: Accademia “I Filarmonici”, “I Virtuosi Italiani”, “I Cameristi Lombardi”, “Ensemble Garbarino”, “Sestetto Italiano” and “I Solisti di Cremona”. All these ensembles are internationally renowned and they always obtained great public and critics approval all over the world. He also played for several Italian and International radios and televisions, producing many recordings for the Parisian Verany, Mediterraneo and Discantica. He has been member of the New Klavertrio for 15 years, with whom he held hundreds of concerts in the most prestigious concert halls all over the world (Salzburg, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, New York, Leipzig, Berlin, Paris, London, Warsaw, Prague). He has been cello teacher at the Musical Institute “A.Peri” in Reggio Emilia and at the Civic Music School of Cremona. He holds proficiency courses at the “Tadini” Academy in Lovere. He is an esteemed teacher, thanks to his capability to relate to his students, to whom he is able to pass on his vital energy and his love for music, together with a solid technical teaching and the ability of showing feelings. He plays a Davide Teckler cello of the XVIII century.
