Maria Tretyakova

Russian pianist Maria Tretyakova is a soloist of Moscow State Philharmonic Society. She has given solo, chamber music and concerto performances throughout Russia, France, Poland, Malaysia, England, South Korea, Czech Republic, Romania, former Yugoslavia, Croatia, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Latvia and Lebanon.

She has won first prizes in several national and international competitions, including the Competition for Young Pianists in Poland, the Premio Citta di Padova, the Premio Citta di Cesenatico, the Premio Citta di Riccione, the Giulio Rospigliosi Competition in Italy as well as the Karlovac International Piano Competition in Croatia.

Maria Tretyakova has performed in such prestigious concert halls as the Great, Small and Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Tchaikovsky and Chamber Hallsof the Moscow State Philharmonic Society, the Bolshoi Theatre, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, MalibranTheatre (Venice), Teatro Vittoria (Torino), ConservatorioVerdi and Sala Puccini (Milano), Teatro Sociale (Brescia), Rudolfinum (Prague), Palau de la Musica (Barcelona), Sala Nezahualcoyotl (Mexico) and the Concert Hall of The Embassy of Latgale 'GORS' (Eastern Latvia, Rezekne). She also took part in several festivals such as Anniversary Concerts in Great Hall of Moscow State Conservatoire, Stars of 21st Century (Russia), International Music Festival (Japan), Dubrovnik Summer Festival (Croatia), Les 21es Semainesmusicales de Tours (France), MITO Festival (Italy) as well as the Cervantino International Festival (Mexico).
She regularly collaborates with such musicians and conductors as Yuri Bashmet, Jan Latham-Koenig, Victor Tretyakov, Vladimir Ziva, Gintaras Rinkiavichus, Lyda Chen Argerich,  Veronika Dudarova, Ivan Shpiller, Carlo Piazza, Ben Schoeman, Barton Quartet, Vladislav Bulakhov, Gennady Chernov, Alexander Slutsky and Alexander Buzlov.Several of her performances have been broadcast on radio and television in Russia, France and Italy.

Maria Tretyakova was born in Moscow, where she began her musical career at the age of 5. Four years later she made her debut with symphony orchestra. As an artist she has been shaped by renowned pedagogues such as Lev Naumov, Eliso Virsaladze, Tatiana Klementieva, Vladimir Viardo and Vovka Ashkenazy. She studied at major institutions, including the Gnesin Special Musical School in Moscow, the Moscow State 'Tchaikovsky' Conservatoire, the International Piano Academy 'Incontri col Maestro' in Imola, as well as the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy.
