Gran galà Broadway

Amor vincit omnia

Musical

Creation by MARIA GALANTINO

Adaptations and musical arrangements by MARIA GALANTINO

The spectacle proposes an historic excursion of the great national and international musical on the leitmotif of the Love. This latter is adapted according to the different nuances in the stories narrated by the eminent Musical Operas: from the “criminal” act covered of gossip in “Chicago” to the mystery of a given life of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, from the force which cures and reunifies of “Rent” to the dark and useless manoeuvres of power in “Kiss of the Spider Woman” and “Chess”, to finish with the sunny reunification of “Mamma Mia!” and “Hair”.

The repertoire evokes the brilliant atmospheres of the musical. Songs and melodies come from shows which made the history of the great Musical: from “Cabaret” to “Chicago”, from “Rent” until the newest production such as “Mamma Mia!”.

The cast includes the participation of extraordinary performers, all coming from the productions of famous musicals which gained the most success in the recent years: “Sister Act” for Marco Romano, “Biancaneve” for Simona Distefano, “Mamma Mia!” for Francesca Taverni and Michael Anzalone. In particular Francesca Taverni is one of the most estimated and prize-winning performer of the Italian musical. The creation, the sound track on piano as well as some adaptations and arrangements are edited by Maria Galantino, a deep connoisseur of the Musical Theatre’s repertoire also thanks to the long collaboration (as pianist and musical director on stage) with the Musical Academy in Bologna.
