The CHORUS BAND is a VOCAL ORCHESTRA a cappella that “sings” and “plays”, by reproducing, only through the voice, both the melody and the instrumental accompaniments. It is composed by 9 members, 7 of which are soloists,  with accompaniment of harmonic section, rhythmic section, bass and drums, all rigorously a cappella; the band has a great success everywhere and it assures a certain, pleasant, intriguing and captivating show. The wide repertoire with the arrangements of its conductor, Mario Marelli, ranges from ragtime, jazz, pop, rock, to gospel, from Janice Joplin to Gershwin and to the present day, by crossing the ’70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, the Beatles, the Blues Brothers, the Queen… The Band performed in many TV shows, on SKY TV, ANTENNA3, it passed all auditions of X FACTOR (RAI Due), it won the First Prize at STRESA Festival/Contest, the Absolute First Prize at the Milan Conservatory on 50 groups participating to the 8th Festival/Contest. It received various invitations at different events, such as: the inauguration of the Conference Hall of Milan Province together with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali; the International Festival on Garda Lake of Verona Province; the “Meeting per l’Amicizia fra i Popoli” in Rimini; in Agrigento, Valle dei Templi, as only one guest group at a Gala Night in the presence of the Canada First Minister, the Palermo Cardinal, the national members of Parliament, local authorities and RAI TRE. Together with other big national singers, the band was guest at the Fraschini Theatre in Pavia and at the Social Theatre in Como. It went on tour in the ISLE of ELBA and in SARDINIA. It gave performances for all airlines of the world and in many other Conventions. It held numerous concerts in Milan (Villa Litta, Castello Sforzesco, Circolo della Stampa, Umanitaria, Rosetum Theatre, Edi Theatre, Nuovo Theatre), at the Social Theatre in Como, the Fraschini Theatre in Pavia, the Coccia Theatre in Novara, the Town Theatre in Carpi and in many other Italian places.
