Camerata RCO is a young and extraordinary Chamber Ensemble, formed by soloists and leading roles of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, so called for the world-renowned concert hall in Amsterdam. The ensemble was founded in order to expand their shared orchestral experiences further into the realm of chamber music. Thanks to flexible instrumentation, the entire breadth of the literature from baroque to contemporary can be explored. Despite its recent foundation (2009), Camerata RCO has already played concerts in Vienna, Taipei, Seoul, Rome (University Institution of  Concerts), Amsterdam, Bergen (NO) (Grieg in Bergen Festival), Turin (Musical Union), Asti, Alencon (FR) (Septembre Musicale de l’Orne Festival). Moreover, the ensemble has made  recordings for national radio and tv stations, such as RAI Radio 3 and Classica TV Channel in Italy. In 2012 Camerata RCO published its first CD recording with the Music Label Gutman Records, which was particularly dedicated to Christmas (Angelo Corelli’s Concerto Grosso). In September 2013 Camerata RCO published its second CD, Sweet Dumplings MOZART and Cheese Strudel MENDELSSOHN; in September 2014 their latest CD was released and it features Mahler 9th Symphony for chamber ensemble under the baton of the talented Spanish conductor Gustavo Gimeno.

The ensemble has a residency in a series in Spaarndam, Dordrecht (Netherlands) and also in the Festival Amfiteatrof in Levanto (Italy). They have recently played in New York, Minsk, Tokyo, Seoul, Vienna, Rome, Madrid and Turin.
